The weaver girl: a girl weaving hemp cloth, from the traditional Korean folktale of Gyeonuwajingnyeo, the Herdsman and the Weaver; the Milky Way separates the girl from her husband, the Herdsman, and the only time of year she reunites with him is July 7th by the lunar calendar when a flock of magpies and crows form a bridge called Okjakgyo, Crow-Magpie Bridge, across the constellation.
